In the interim (still playing derby, of course), I found the Bauerfeind Omotrain shoulder support. LOVED it. It was much less obstructive than other braces appeared to be and was super supportive. Of course, it's going to matter what kind of support you need, but I loved it. Supportsusa has good info on it.
